Care & warrantyHow large can my screen be?
Screens can be tailored to an existing OpenGlide system, with no additional sizing restrictions beyond those of the door system. OpenGlide is normally designed up to 2.3 metres overall height and has no fixed overall width limit, subject to suitable supporting construction. Taller openings use a separate fixed or opening glazed section above the doors. We agree the screen layout for the usable doorway; other doors and windows are measured individually.
Can I use it throughout the year?
Yes. Our screens are suitable for year-round use, including winter and windy conditions. We do not publish a tested wind-speed rating. For an especially exposed opening, discuss the conditions with us so we can advise on its use and fitting.
How should I care for it?
Keep accessible track channels free of loose dirt and pet hair, using gentle vacuuming to remove debris. Never force a screen if the track is obstructed. Follow the guidance supplied for your installation, and ask us before using cleaning products or lubricants on the mesh or mechanism.
Can damaged mesh be replaced?
Damaged mesh normally requires replacement of the complete flyscreen, rather than the mesh alone. Contact us with photographs so we can assess the damage and advise. An alternative may occasionally be possible, depending on the damage.
What warranty applies?
Flyscreens have a two-year standard warranty. This is separate from the door-profile warranty. Your quotation and project agreement confirm the applicable terms, coverage and aftercare arrangements.
